MINIMAL WASTERS

We have put a lot of thought into how we can minimise our waste on site. Disposable packaging from food stalls and bars makes up a large part of festival waste, with plastics that are often not able to be recycled. To combat this problem at the Waveform we have made it a strict policy that all packaging used on site by food stalls traders must be compostable, which means that whatever you are eating is not only good, organic and local, but even its packaging is non-harmful to the planet. To reduce our waste even further there will be an amazing litter team who will be sorting through everything and sending as much to be recycled, composted and reused as possible. These guys are great! They really make a difference and will reduce what is sent to landfill to a minimum.
 
To help them please put litter in the right bins. We will be recycling TETRAPAKS! PLASTIC! CARDBOARD! PAPER! GLASS! CANS! METALS! BATTERIES! and composting FOODWASTE! and DISPOSABLES!
